Second Daughter of ANNIE the Third Daughter of REV.J.JOSHUA

Joshua       Annie      Elsielet           42 Elsielet 421 Asir Davidson     422 Schell Inneson     423 Ida     424 Annie     425 Thomas Jefferson     426 Grace	Elsielet was the second daughter of Dr.N.Asirwatham and Mrs.Anne Asirwatham the fourth child of Rev.J.Joshua.  Rev.J.Joshua was the second native Pastor of NAGERCOIL Home Church, during 1878 to 1900.  She was born on22nd December, 1896, and brought up at Neyyoor where her father was working as a medical doctor in the Mission Hospital.                  Elsielet got married to Dr.Joseph Charles David, son of Mr.David Nadar of NAGERCOIL, on 4th May, 1921.  Mr.David Nadar was a Magistrate in the service of the erstwhile Travancore Government Judicial Service.  Dr.J.C.David was a qualified Veterinary Doctor and served in the Madras Government Animal Husbandry Department.  After a long service he retired as a Veterinary Surgeon from Vellore.               Dr.J.C.David and Mrs.Elsielet David were blessed with three sons - Asir Davidson,  Schell Inneson and Thomas Jefferson - and three daughters - Ida, Annie and Grace.  The eldest son Asir Dvidson married Stella Bai from Neyyoor and is settled at Bangalore.  Schel Inneson married Vasantha daughter of Dr.D.C.Berry of Neyyoor and is now living in Vellore.  Thomas Jefferson is a Pastor with the CSI Diocese Madras.  He married Marjorie and the family is settled in Madras.  Ida got married to Mr.R.C.Hector, Annie to Dr.B.S.Rao and Grace to Martin.  However Hector died on 19th May 1975, at a very young age of forty eight years and Martin passed away on 30th March, 1999.               Dr.J.C.David passed away on 22nd June, 1956.  Mrs.Elsielet David lived up to  the age of 72 years and left for her heavenly abode on 18th December 1968.
