Youngest Daughter of J.JOSEPH the Eldest Son of REV.J.JOSHUA

Joshua     Joseph      Jane           14 Jane 141 Alfia Joylette Grushing     142 John Bertil Dhondy     143 Baby - Edwards     144 Gnanalette Phloxy     145 Alfia Joylette     146 Margarette Scella     147 Paul Percy Herclis	Mrs.Jane Edwards was the youngest child of Mr.J.Joseph the eldest son of Rev.J.Joshua, and Mrs.Mary Joseph daughter of Rev.Samuel Zachariah, first Pastor of Neyyoor Home Church.  Mr.Joseph passed away when the children were very young and Mrs.Mary Joseph had to shoulder the responsibility of bringing up the children.  She brought them up with good Christian qualities and educated them properly.              Jane married Mr.Albert Edwards, son of Dr.Daniel Edwards of Marthandam.  After completing his education Mr.Albert Edwards went toCeylon where he worked as a Tea-maker, in the Tea Plantations there.  Later he returned to India and was employed in the Nilgiris in the same capacity.  After retirement Mr.Edwards returned to Marthandam and settled with his family in their own house.               They had seven children, two of them died in infancy.  The eldest son Mr.Dhondy Edwards lives in Marthandam with his wife.  The youngest son Mr.Percy is in NAGERCOIL with his family.  The eldest daughter Mrs.Phloxy Vincent died at NAGERCOIL on 1-5-1999.  The other daughters Mrs.Joy Wilson and Mrs.Scella Rose are at Neyyoor and Thuckalay respectively.               Mrs.Jane Edwards was regular for Church Services and never missed the Women’s Fellowship meetings at the C.S.I.Church Marthandam.  She died at a very early age of 57 years on 10th June, 1955.  Mr.Albert Edwards lived upto the age of 72 years and left for his heavenly abode  on 18th June, 1960.  Their mortal remains were laid to rest at the Marthandam C.S.I. Cemetery.
